Samsung galaxy Note 8 to launch on Aug 23 : All Rumours and Leaks at one place

Every now and then , we have been listening a lot of renders about the upcoming Note 8 ( by Samsung , not lenovo 😉) . And amid all the rumours , Samsung has announced that it will be launching the Note 8 on Aug 23 . While the Note 7 didn't go well for Samsung , Note 8 is what they will be betting against . So , what would be great about Note 8 ? Let's have a look what the leaks have to say .

As is obvious , the Note 8 will also have that infinity display , similar to what we observed on the s8 and the s8+ , but the screen size would be bumped up to 6.3" . It would be an amoled display with a resolution of 1440 x 2960 pixels . This would mean that it too will have aspect ratio of 18.5 : 9 . IP 68 rating is for sure . As per the latest rumours , it will also feature 3d touch . And a S Pen will be there , afterall , it's a Note .


The Note 8 will be powered by qualcomm's Snapdragon 835 , while it will be released with Samsung's Exynos 8895 in Asia and some other regions . The ram and on board storage will be 6 gb and 64 gb or 128 gb respectively . Plus there will be a variant with 256 gb of internal storage , though it will be limited to certain markets . 

With every other manufacturer coming out with dual cameras , Samsung is also rumoured to have joined the league . The Note 8 is rumoured to have a dual 12 mp setup for 3x optical zoom , though some leaks suggest that the optical zoom capability would be limited to 2x . While the front facing camera is rumoured to be similar to s8 , 8 mp f/1.7 . 

For software , Note 8 will be running on Android 7.1.1 out of the box , with Samsung Experience on top . And a lot of people out there will actually be disappointed that Samsung is will be going with a fingerprint sensor at the back of the phone , rather than putting it underneath the display ( Afterall s8 had only one thing annoying , the placement of the fingerprint reader placement , apart from that Bixby thing ) . And we can't forget the iris scanner . It will also make its presence on the Note 8 .

For connectivity , there will be support for 4g VoLTE , wifi , GPS , NFC and bluetooth 5.0 . Also , there will be support for Bixby , though it will be much more refined this time . And finally , the battery ( Most important feature for Samsung after the Note 7 😉 ) . The Note 8 will house a smaller 3300 mah battery with support for fast charging via usb type-C . And other features , like the wireless charging , Samsung pay , support for Samsung VR and Samsung 360 will also be there . And last but not the least , it will have a 3.5 mm headphone jack , something other rivals have skipped before .

 The Note 8 will be priced around 849-999 US dollars (About Rs. 70,000 to 80,000 in India ) . It will be launched  in New York on 23 Aug , and later in a week or two in India , though you will be able to put on your hands on it in mid of September only .
